Welcome to EireBites. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our food delivery platform and services. By accessing or using EireBites, you agree to be bound by these terms.

EireBites is an online platform that connects customers with local restaurants and facilitates food ordering and delivery services. We act as an intermediary between you, the restaurants, and delivery partners.
To use certain features of our service, you must create an account. You agree to:
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use our services. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
When you place an order through EireBites:
Orders can be cancelled within a limited time after placement. Once the restaurant begins preparing your order, cancellation may not be possible, and refunds may be subject to the restaurant's policy.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed. Delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control, including weather, traffic, and restaurant preparation times.
You must provide an accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by you.
If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect information or unavailability at the delivery address, you may not be entitled to a refund.
If you have concerns about food quality, missing items, or other order issues, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will investigate and work with the restaurant to resolve the issue.

All content on the EireBites platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of EireBites or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EireBites shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to:
Important: Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
While we make efforts to display allergen information provided by restaurants, we cannot guarantee its accuracy or completeness. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, you must contact the restaurant directly before ordering.
Promotional offers and discount codes are subject to specific terms and conditions. They may have expiration dates, usage limits, and restrictions. We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time.
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on our platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitute acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
Please Note: EireBites is a technology platform. We connect customers with restaurants and facilitate deliveries through our app. We do not employ CREW and we bear no responsibility for anything that happens in the course of a CREW member's activity on or off the platform.
Anyone who carries out deliveries through EireBites does so as a self-employed individual running their own business. There is no employment relationship between EireBites and any CREW member. EireBites does not direct how CREW members do their work, does not set their hours, and has no obligation to provide them with work. CREW members choose freely when to log on and when to accept or decline orders.
Every CREW member is fully responsible for making sure they have whatever insurance the law requires them to have in order to carry out delivery work. EireBites carries no insurance on behalf of CREW members and provides no cover of any kind — not for the CREW member, not for their vehicle, not for the public, and not for any goods being transported. If a CREW member does not have adequate insurance and something goes wrong, that is entirely the CREW member's problem. EireBites will not contribute to any costs, claims, or settlements that arise.
If a CREW member causes an accident, injures someone, or damages someone else's property while carrying out a delivery, that CREW member is personally responsible. EireBites is not party to whatever happens on the road. Any costs, legal proceedings, or compensation due to a third party are the CREW member's responsibility alone. EireBites will not be drawn into such matters and accepts no liability in connection with them.
Once a CREW member collects an order from a restaurant, the responsibility for getting that food to the customer in good condition passes to the CREW member. If food arrives damaged, cold, spilled, or in an unacceptable state because of how the CREW member handled it, the CREW member is responsible for that outcome. EireBites does not supervise how CREW members carry food and will not cover any costs arising from poor handling during transit.
CREW members must ensure their vehicle is legally roadworthy, properly taxed, and that they hold whatever licence is needed to drive or ride it under Irish law. The cost of running, maintaining, and insuring a vehicle is the CREW member's own. EireBites does not supply vehicles, fuel, bags, phones, or any other equipment. CREW members provide everything they need themselves.
Earnings paid to CREW members through EireBites are paid gross. EireBites does not make any tax deductions on a CREW member's behalf. CREW members are responsible for registering with Revenue as self-employed where required, reporting their income, and paying whatever tax, PRSI, or USC they owe. EireBites has no involvement in and no liability for a CREW member's tax affairs.
If EireBites faces any claim, cost, loss, or legal action as a result of something a CREW member did or failed to do, the CREW member is responsible for making EireBites whole. This includes any costs EireBites incurs defending itself. By using the platform, CREW members accept this responsibility.
EireBites may remove a CREW member from the platform at any time. This includes situations where a CREW member has received complaints from customers or restaurants, has behaved in a way that puts others at risk, has been dishonest, or has broken any part of these Terms. EireBites is not obliged to give advance notice and will not be liable to a CREW member for removing their access.
EireBites does not promise CREW members any particular number of orders, any minimum income, or continued availability of the platform. CREW members use EireBites on the understanding that delivery opportunities depend on customer demand and restaurant activity, neither of which EireBites controls or guarantees.
